The SLA believes that every pupil is entitled to effective school library provision and supports those working in and with school libraries, promoting high quality reading and learning opportunities for all. It offers advice and support to its members and provides INSET training and advocacy. It also produces The School Librarian quarterly which reviews new children’s books.
