National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE) supports the development of all genres of creative writing in educational and community settings throughout the UK. It shares skills, ideas, opinions and learning through its publications and events, including the magazine Writing in Education, published three times a year. It has conducted a three-year Writers in Schools Research Programme, with the aim of measuring the benefits in nine partner schools. NAWE also maintains artscape, the national database for arts in education.
