Description:
The “home of Scotland’s stories” in Edinburgh promotes oral storytelling as a vibrant contemporary artform and celebrates the country’s rich storytelling heritage. It has a seasonal public programme of live storytelling, theatre and literature, including a Storytelling Festival. This is supported by seasonal visual arts, craft and multi-media events. It’s also the home of the Scottish Storytelling Forum, and a resource for all those interested in developing their own storytelling skills. Its outreach programme takes stories into schools and other venues and helps to develop community projects.
