Reading is Fundamental promotes book choice, ownership and the fun of reading among children and young people aged 0 – 19 years in areas of disadvantage. The initiative gives young people the chance to choose free books to keep, while a range of projects encourages life-long reading in all sorts of places - schools, nurseries, libraries, foster homes, football clubs. A number of case studies may be viewed online.
