Description:
A writing project which builds a creative relationship between students, their teacher and a professional writer, Storyspinner is aimed at KS3 English students. An online writer presents pupils with a series of narrative dilemmas to solve, in a series of six lessons. These are fed back for comment and to generate the next stage of the story through Storyspinner’s specially developed website. The online writer uploads a story, a letter and a video trailer for the teacher to download. After giving the lesson the teacher uses the same system to share all the pupils’ work with the writer, who then prepares the next lesson. Movie-style trailers blending text, images and sound may also be used for each episode.
