National Year of Reading 2008 (Project)

The National Year of Reading 2008 was a year-long celebration of reading, in all its forms run by the National Literacy Trust on behalf of the Department for Children, Schools and Families. It aimed to help build a greater national passion for reading in England – for children, families and adult learners alike and provided the Wikireadia database designed to be an online good practice guide for anyone supporting readers.
