Support Us

Make a Donation

The Story Museum is a registered charity and needs to raise over £800,000 annually. Your support helps us to engage over 95,000 children and families each year, offer an inspiring creative learning programme in schools and communities, and ensure that we remain inclusive and accessible to all. To find out more about why your support matters, click here.

The support of our visitors and friends is vital to our success – we couldn’t do it without you! If you’ve enjoyed visiting us and taking part, please consider making a donation or becoming a Friend or Fellow of The Story Museum.

Other ways to help

If you’re thinking of doing a challenge or would like to plan a fundraising event for family, friends, school or colleagues, please consider doing it in support of The Story Museum. Whether it’s running the Oxford Half Marathon as your favourite story character, hosting a 24-hour sponsored bedtime story, arranging a book raffle at school or taking part in one of the many organised triathlons, hikes or bike rides, we can help you set up a fundraising page and give you lots of support along the way.

If your business would like to get involved, take a look at our Corporate Engagement page to find out more.

Volunteer your time and skills. The Story Museum engages many volunteers, from our own Board of Trustees to the visitor services assistants in our galleries. We also gain a huge amount from the expertise that our volunteer advisors contribute in all areas of our organisation, from financial strategy to exhibition making. Visit our Volunteer page to find out more.

If you have any questions about making a donation or any aspect of fundraising at The Story Museum, email [email protected].
