Reading Allowed! Narnia comes to life at The Story Museum, Oxford
Tuesday 4th November
HEAR THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE READ ALOUD AT THE STORY MUSEUM
Reading Allowed! Marathon: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Sunday 30 November, 11.15 – 16.00. Free.
It’s always winter but nearly Christmas at The Story Museum: on Sunday 30 November, visitors can come along for free to hear the whole of CS Lewis’s classic tale, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, read aloud.
The adventures of the Pevensie children, who travel through a wardrobe to the magical world of Narnia, will be brought to life by actors and other readers. Sit back and relax as the story unfolds before your very ears: the perfect way to experience the story, whether for the first time or as a Narnia enthusiast.
The reading will begin at 11.15 and finish at 16.00, with breaks for refreshments. Themed food (both savoury and sweet) will be served in the Museum’s café. Visitors who want to visit Narnia can also step through the wardrobe in the immersive 26 Characters exhibition, which will be open to all comers on the day.
