Charlie Higson is an author, actor, comedian, director and writer for television and radio. While growing up, he wrote plays inspired by the comedians Monty Python and resolutely ignored his father’s advice to get a proper job as he could never make any money from writing. After leaving university, Charlie formed a band, The Higsons, and worked as a decorator before teaming up with Paul Whitehouse to create many successful radio and television comedies including Down the Line and The Fast Show. Charlie has written four adult thrillers and eighteen novels for young people, including the hugely popular Young Bond series.
