11.00am - 3pm White rabbits, faux flamingos, croquet and chess
Meet, pat and pamper a beautiful trace of real white rabbits (not a Mad Hatter in sight!) and enjoy free family entertainment dodging the faux flamingos as you challenge your chums in a game of croquet or giant chess. All in the Castle Gardens. FREE EVENT.

Make your own Cheshire Cat or White Rabbit Mask curiosities inspired by the brand new book Everything Alice, The Wonderland book of makes by Hannah Read-Baldrey and Christine Leech. Suitable for all ages - just drop in. FREE EVENT
12noon - 2.00pm Wonderland Workshop with Oxford's own Creation Theatre
A two-hour drama workshop for children aged 7-12 years, drawing from the magic of Lewis Carroll’s story to create a short Alice performance of their very own, which they will perform at 2pm in Castle Gardens. Don’t be late for this very important date! 1.00 - 4.00pm Mapping Wonderland: a theatrical promenade performance
Leaving every half hour: 1.00, 1.30, 2.00, 2.30, 3.00, 3.30pm
Please meet a steward in the lobby of the Malmaison Hotel in the Castle complex.
A promenade tour with a difference, where you will meet some of the real life historical characters who may have inspired Lewis Carroll when he wrote Alice. Under Construction theatre company's partially improvised performance reflects back in time and investigates the idea that Oxford was the original Wonderland. The performances will take place in public areas across Oxford Castle, including sites not normally open to the public, such as John Scott Haldane's punishment cells, Christopher Wren's architect's viewing gallery and Susan Holder's apothecary stillroom. Join in, discover the Castle and its historic sites, help a mysterious character rediscover her past and take a journey through Wonderland.

7.00pm - 2.00am Mad Hatter's Tea Party
Step through the looking glass and make like a Mad Hatter at a tea party strictly for grown ups in the Living Room's stylish Study. Come in Alice in Wonderland fancy dress and enjoy the Alice-inspired cocktail and canapé menu whilst enjoying glimpses of Alice-inspired film screenings... “Curiouser and curiouser!”
