interns

We have a small team of enthusiastic interns who arrive at The Story Museum from all over the world - and we've greatly valued their imaginative, lively and hardworking contribution. Our interns are generally students working during their university vacation, or graduates wanting to gain experience with us for a few weeks or months. Some have been working on specific projects, others have been helping to market and organise events or fundraise.

We currently have no vacancies for interns. If you are interested in becoming an intern later from September onwards, please email us with your c.v., area of interest and why you'd like to get involved.

volunteer stewards

We are looking for volunteer stewards to help us deliver experiences that will delight our visitors, young and old, and develop our ideas and audiences for the future.

As well as gaining skills and experience you’ll meet some fascinating people, be part of some unique events and play an important role in helping The Story Museum come true.

...and here's what our interns have to say

Willow Sainsbury

"The Story Museum is a uniquely creative environment - an ideal place to do an internship. Mine allowed me to undertake a diversity of roles and I experienced an environment of equality in the office. Whether it be fine-tuning Photoshop skills, web-based design, creating displays, or fielding the weird and wacky ideas of colleagues and visitors into the reality of the Story Museum, this internship offers everything. The scale of this project is huge and the room for creative and practical individuals equals this scale." Willow Sainsbury

Eva intern

"Working at the Story Museum as an intern was a rewarding experience. Not only was it an opportunity for me to develop and improve skills, but also was it fascinating to be part of such a brilliant project. I love the idea of Story Museum and it will be exciting to watch it all happen the next few years." Eva Matzner, Germany
