The Story Museum is proud to announce a new touring exhibition combining a spellbinding performance and an intriguing multi-sensory exhibition tackling the issue of global warming.
This
storyday follows a similar format to previously acclaimed tours of The Minotaur and The Tree of Life, offering a one-hour top quality storytelling performance for primary years 2 to 6 followed by an interactive exhibition which children can visit to re-explore the story through a wide variety of images, sounds, objects and activities.
The story performance combines poems, songs and fables into a single remarkable narrative. The exhibition includes melting ice, animal skins, deserts, rice fields, soundscape puzzles, interactive role plays, writing, voting, karaoke and a chance to make your own speech on TV!
The stor
y includes five traditional world tales that can be learned and retold in the classroom afterwards. The exhibition comes with a resource pack of storyboards, story text and guidelines for retelling and exploring these tales further.
