About the event

To mark the 65th anniversary of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe this October, the Story Museum has invited Dr. Judith Wolfe, Brendan N. Wolfe and guests to discuss Narnia and its wider impact on children’s literature. Join us to celebrate C.S. Lewis’ achievement in creating one of the most-loved imaginary worlds of all time, plus enjoy stepping through the wardrobe yourself in our newly refurbished Narnia exhibit! Suitable for teenagers aged 12+ and adults

Ticket includes a free glass of sparkling wine or soft drink and entry to Narnia exhibit.

About the speakers:
Dr Judith Wolfe teaches Theology and the Arts at St Andrews University in Scotland. She is the founding General Editor of the Journal of Inklings Studies, and has co-edited two collections on C.S. Lewis: C.S. Lewis and the Church (T&T Clark 2009) and C.S. Lewis’s Perelandra: Reshaping the Image of the Cosmos (KSUP 2013). She also publishes on theology, literature and philosophy more widely, most recently in the books Heidegger’s Eschatology (OUP 2013) and Heidegger and Theology (T&T Clark 2014).

Brendan N. Wolfe is a Germanic Philologist at Oxford, where in addition to the Gothic seminars and Old Saxon reading groups, he has for seven years taught Tolkien and Lewis to visiting students.  He is editor of the Journal of Inklings Studies, and past President and Secretary of the C. S. Lewis Society of Oxford University.
