is The White Witch from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, (1950), by C. S. Lewis
Holly Smale was born in 1981, and fell in love with writing at the age of five. She claims to have been a shy and slightly geeky girl who spent most of her school years hiding in the changing room toilets. At fifteen she was unexpectedly spotted by a top London modelling agency and hoped the work would lead to exotic travel. It didn’t, although she did find other ways of living in Japan and Nepal and exploring the world. By the time she had left Bristol University with a BA in English literature and an MA in Shakespeare, Holly had given up modelling and decided to become a writer. Her first books, Geek Girl and Model Misfit, were published to rave reviews.
