Sing For Amal: Open Rehearsal

Sing for amal

Join the Story Museum and sing a Song of Welcome for Little Amal as part of the public event Amal Meets Alice - journey of hope, featuring giant puppetry, music, and dance across the city of Oxford.

Amal is a puppet of a 10 year old Syrian girl walking from Syria to the UK in search of her mother. On Tuesday 26 October The Story Museum's giant Alice puppet will welcome Amal to Oxford accompanied by community groups and artists. The event is part of The Walk, an international arts and campaigning project raising awareness and funds for the plight of child refugees. The Story Museum is the lead producer in Oxford. Find out more about the day here.

We're inviting members of the public of all ages and abilities to come and learn a simple but beautiful song that will be performed as part of the day.

Open Rehearsals:

Sat 23 October 2pm-3pm at The Story Museum

Sun 24 October 2pm-3pm at The Story Museum
