Meet Storyteller Sandra Agard for some spellbinding stories and learn how to captivate your audience through the art of storytelling.
Born in Hackney, London to Guyanese parents; her storytelling, cultural and literary backgrounds are steeped within the African-Caribbean Oral and Traditions.
10am: Meet Sandra Agard. Sandra will kick off with some fun warm-up story games, and invite you to ‘play a story’ as she narrates. Sandra tells stories from around the world, full of mischief and lots of humour. She will then lead you through some activities which will help you to think of some stories of your own.
Our participants will interview Sandra on her career and interests before saying goodbye!
12.30: Lunch and free time! Eat outside in the sun, explore the Museum with our guides, play some games or enjoy some quiet independent reading time.
1.30: Using the ideas from your morning, our Learning team will help you work on developing your story further, and create a presentation. As well as plenty more games, of course!Go back
