Reading the World Through Picture Books: A new series of events aimed at teachers and professionals working in the Early Years Foundation Stage that explores the essential role of picture books and children’s literature in developing ideas of self and the world in children.
A live stream of the latest in our series of teacher twilight sessions. Join Laura Henry-Allain MBE as we explore representation in the classroom and how early years teachers and practitioners can promote anti-racism and share stories that reflect everyone.
"What an honour to
be invited to the Story Museum. It’s so important that every child can
see themselves, and others who may not look like them, in a wide range
of picture books. I am passionate about ensuring that I share stories
that will inspire and impact every child irrespective of their
background and where they live. Let us confirm our similarities and
celebrate our differences."
