ABOUT Snowflake Books Snowflake Books uses art and design in a variety of ways to reach out to children from diverse social contexts to expand their perceptions of other cultures and celebrate our shared international values. Our core medium has been the creation of imaginative children’s books, of high artistic quality, portraying Chinese festivals and important mythical characters. Our organisation is supported by an international team of writers and artists from Taiwan and England to ensure artistic quality and authenticity in all that we do.

Our artists have recorded ancient documents and artefacts in museums in Taiwan and England, and made videos of festivals and temple carvings in Taiwan. While retaining authenticity, our skilled artists, Jian Zhi Qiu, Jin Jie Ye, Taylor Brooker and Su Yen Hu have interpreted these models to produce artworks which are also exciting and accessible for young children in over 30 new books and workshops!
