Poetry, myths and modern day drama weave together to create an award winning performance.

Story

The story of two London families whose lives are intertwined, Brand New Ancients tells tales of modern young people set in the modern city but with classical myths woven throughout.

Why we chose it

In a powerful and innovative poetry, Kate Tempest weaves ancient myths with present day dramas and shows that the myths are still relevant today and the drama of modern lives is not so different from the drama of the ancient stories.

Where it went next
