The mishaps and adventures of a teenage entrepreneur.

Story

A television series following the mishaps and adventures of Taj Lewis and his friends, a teenage dot-com entrepreneur trying to make £1 million to support his widowed mother.

Why we chose it

Whilst it does deal with the usual teenage angst, particularly in later seasons where Taj’s mother looks to remarry, it gives a teenager power and agency, showing him to be genuinely caring rather than troubled and also demonstrating his ability to design his own future.

Where it came from

A television comedy drama that shows Taj, a teenager, trying to make ends meet to support his mother. Kerching! aired on CBBC from 2003-2006.
