Teenage robot brothers battle evil in a futuristic world.

Story

London in the future and super robot brothers Alex and Freddy, discover an evil robot making sinister plans. Their life is about to change.

Why we chose it

A fast paced comic book adventure. Alex and Freddy display all the competitive tendencies and sibling rivalries of typical teenage brothers whilst battling together to save the world from evil robots planning a takeover.

Where it came from

The story appeared first in The Phoenix comic and was then published as a graphic novel.

Where it went next

Mega Robo Bros was shortlisted for a British Comic Award in 2016 and won an Excelsior Award Jr in 2017. It was followed by two further Mega Robo Bros adventures, Mega Robo Rumble and Mega Robo Revenge.

Neill Cameron’s work appears in the weekly children’s comic The Phoenix.
