A magical story-driven adventure game for all ages.

Story

Jeremiah Hazelnut has a dream of being a magician. Whiling away the time in his summer holiday, he attempts to create a new spell…only to discover a real magician who uses magic to walk between parallel universes. This magician, the Marquis de Hoto, offers Jerry the chance of a lifetime - to become his apprentice.

Why we chose it

A heavily story-driven game it follows a lot of classic children’s literature tropes – a young child going on an adventure in the final days of a summer holiday. The game talks about the importance of kindness, family and following your dreams. This is a point-and-click adventure game, meaning the gameplay is accessible to all ages. The game features thought - provoking puzzles, amusing dialogue and exceptional illustration.

Where it came from

Daedalic Entertainment was founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2007. In 2008 they released their first point-and-click adventure game, Edna and Harvey: The Breakout. They have since created several point and click adventure games, known for their distinctive graphics and humorous dialogue and interactions.

Where it went next

Anna’s Quest was created by Daedalic Entertainment in 2015 and has a very similar vibe to Night of the Rabbit, focussing on a young girl on a quest to save her grandpa and battle an evil witch.
