The Story Museum’s studio theatre allows audiences of all ages to experience the pleasure of story and the power of live performance.
Our theatre is a comfortable and creative space, built simply and lined with upcycled wooden doors - doors into memorable experiences that will lift spirits and open minds.
The Woodshed is designed to accommodate puppetry, storytelling and small shows, as well as author and illustrator talks and workshops, lectures and film screenings. The banked seating can retract completely to create a large flexible space.
The Woodshed is also equipped with cameras and recording equipment to allow some events to be live streamed.
