Our Brilli-ANT exhibition ends on 31 May so don't miss this last chance to adopt an ant's eye view of the world and meet some giant insects with some stories to tell about ways to tackle climate change. Entry included with a Galleries ticket.

Elmer Day
The Story Museum invites you to join in our Elmer Day festivities as we wish Elmer the Patchwork Elephant a Happy 35th Birthday! There'll be plenty of fun with storytelling and crafts. Plus, our family-friendly cafe will be serving up Elmer-themed treats. In partnership with Anderson Press.

Storytelling with Mama G
Wish our favourite patchwork elephant a very happy birthday this Elmer Day! Join the party with the effervescent pantomime dame, Mama G, who’ll be sharing some of David McKee’s most beloved picture books about Elmer – the patchwork elephant who loves to play practical jokes and longs to fit in. There will be plenty of songs and even a science experiment! Look out for a special guest appearance from the colourful elephant himself! Mama G’s storytimes are sparkly, witty and inclusive, full of audience participation and fun.

Comic Club & Comic Club Plus
Develop your comic making skills. Awesome comic artist, Neill Cameron, will be on hand to offer helpful advice and tips. This 11am session is for children aged 8-11 and the 1.30pm session is for ages 12-16.

Come and meet Elmer over the May Bank Holiday weekend with appearances at 12:00 on Sunday 26 May and Monday 27 May.

LEGO Master Builders Club
Calling all young engineers, architects and inventors! Build a story with LEGO! Master Builders Club will be providing 1000s of LEGO bricks that will transform the museum space into a LEGO fan's paradise. The theme for this session will be ‘All the Fun of the Fair’ – it’s carnival time in Bricksville and the May Fair has arrived. Master Builder has been called to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Join us for a ride on a rollercoaster, carnival capers guaranteed!
