Please be aware that Botley Road, one of the main routes into Oxford City centre is currently closed to all through traffic.

City centre parking and access is limited and Oxford now has a temporary congestion charge in place to reduce congestion in Oxford while Botley Road is closed. To find out more, click here. The nearest public car parks are located at the Westgate Shopping Centre and the Oxpens car park on Oxpens Road. Both are a 5 minute walk from The Story Museum.

If you need to access Pembroke Street itself by car, please be aware that the street is one-way, with access from St Ebbe’s.

Oxford is famous for being a cycling city and there are a number of cycle paths and routes to reach The Story Museum by bike. Click here to work out your route.

Designated cycle parking spots are situated on Broad Street and at Oxford Station.

The Museum is a 10 minute walk from Oxford Station. Trains run from London Paddington and London Marylebone to Oxford approximately every 30 minutes and journey time varies between an hour and an hour and a half. Click here for more information or call 08457 49 50 for times.
