Our cafe is open for both museum visitors and passers-by. We are currently offering a take away service for those who wish to eat outside in our courtyard and indoor seating with table service for those who would prefer to eat inside. Entry to the cafe is via the main gates to the museum on Pembroke Street.
The Story Museum café has signed up to become Oxford’s first Happy Café, an initiative based on well-being, friendship, good deeds and community run by Action For Happiness, which is quickly spreading across the UK.
