The Story Museum is proud to present the latest in a special series of events featuring a host of favourite household names, exploring the books and stories that have stayed with them throughout their lives.

For many of us, the books that remain on our bookshelf often have their own stories to tell about the role they have played in our lives. This treasured collection often reflects the many parts to us, including our upbringing, our passions and our guilty pleasures. In this unique series of events, Nicolette Jones (Sunday Times children’s literary editor) discovers the books that sit on the shelves of some Britain’s best-loved and celebrated personalities.

The latest in the series explores the bookshelf of comedian, actor and writer David Baddiel. Discover the books he loves, the books he would recommend and the books that have changed his life.

Shelf Life with David Baddiel takes place on the 15 March at 18:30. Tickets are £10/£8 and can be bought at or by calling the ticket office on 01865 305305. The event is suitable for ages 14+.
