Sleepovers

Ever wondered what The Story Museum looks like after dark?

Sleepovers are currently only available to Girlguiding, Scouts, Cadets and school groups

Join us for an unforgettable night at The Story Museum! Pack your teddy and get ready to explore the Enchanted Library after hours with a variety of games and activities, before settling down for a bedtime story in our magical Whispering Wood! After an action-packed evening, you’ll spend the night among the trees in the Whispering Wood. All sleepovers start at 19:00 or 19:30 and end at 08:30 the following day.

Sleepovers include:

  • Welcome and decamp in the Whispering Wood from 19:00 or 19:30
  • Out-of-hours visit to the Enchanted Library to include a scavenger hunt
  • Storytelling, games and crafts in the Magic Common Room
  • ‘Midnight feast’ of hot chocolate and a cookie in the Magic Common Room
  • Bedtime story followed by bedtime in the Whispering Wood
  • Breakfast the following morning
  • Depart at 08:30
  • Foam camping mats provided but participants are responsible for bringing a sleeping bag and pillow

Cost:
Our sleepovers are suitable for ages 7+ and for organised groups from Girlguiding, Scouts, Cadets and Primary/Prep schools. A minimum of 20 children and a maximum of 30 children with one adult going free for every five children. Prices are available upon request. Email our team at [email protected] to join a waiting list for the academic year 27/28, with bookings being arranged from April 2027.
