What is the Great British Summer Savings offer?
Great British Summer Savings is a new Government initiative. Families can enjoy discounted attractions and meals out this summer at participating venues.
How much can I save?
VAT on full price children's admission tickets is reduced to 5%. The exact amount you stand to save depends on the type of ticket purchased and the age(s) of your child(ren). The reduced admission price will be automatically applied if your visit takes place before 31 August.
When is the offer running?
From 25 June to 31 August 2026.
Who does the offer apply to?
The reduced price applies to standard full price children’s tickets only.
What areas of the Museum are included?
The offer applies to children’s entry to the Galleries and Small Worlds.
Can this offer be combined with other discounts?
No, this offer cannot be used alongside any other promotions or price reductions, such as our Half Price Alice’s Day.
Does the offer include the new exhibition?
Yes! The saving comes just in time for the launch of Mystery Academy: School for Young Detectives on 18 July, giving families the chance to explore the brand-new exhibition for less.
How do I book?
Book your tickets as normal online, over the phone or in person at the Box Office. The reduced admission price will be automatically applied if you visit takes place before 31 August.
