Discover the amazing stories of 10 children who changed the world with Paterson Joseph and Ben Park

Discover the amazing stories of 10 children who changed the world. Part of Black History Month.

Ten Children Who Changed the World, Paterson’s first book for children, explores the true stories of ten young people who grew up in a time when slavery was still legal, and people who looked like them weren’t expected to become important. But they were!

Their courage and determination challenged injustice, helping secure their freedom and the freedom of so many more. In a very special event, Paterson will take audiences on a journey through their stories, along with live music from composer and musician Ben Park, who will create a live musical response to Paterson's storytelling.

Ages 7+

Paterson Joseph is one of Britain's best-loved actors (Vigil, Noughts & Crosses, Wonka, Peep Show) and the author of the award-winning historical novel, The Secret Diaries of Charles Ignatius Sancho. TEN is his first book for children.

Ben Park Ben is an award winning composer, producer, collaborator, director, performer and educator with extensive experience across film, television, theatre and orchestral work.
