A play with clay where the audience help tell the story!

Get ready for a world of fabulous forms, amazing animals and morphing monsters! The show culminates with a short on-stage workshop where children have the opportunity for some hands on clay time.

Led by two award-winning artists, each Claytime is totally unique. You will see characters and stories created on stage from clay – all drawn directly from the audience’s imagination! This show for the very young promises to be theatre at its most interactive and engaging.

Claytime has developed from a philosophy of making ‘open’ theatre shows where the audience are actively involved in the creation of the story. The idea originated from the Sally Todd’s (Indefinite Articles) extensive creative work with early years centres, focussing on a child-centred process developing children’s ideas and imaginations.

"..an out-of-the-ordinary theatrical experience" Lyn Gardner, The Guardian
