Tricksters, deities, strange childhoods, complicated marriages, and cosmic crises collide in the hands of the ever-exuberant Pandvani108 ensemble! World-class storytellers Ben Haggarty, Emily Hennessey and Steph Brittain set a high energy performance of wild myth and fairytale for grown-ups against stunning soundtracks by Raoul Neumann (Trans-Siberian March Band), Sheema Mukherjee (Transglobal Underground & The Imagined Village), and Rav Neiyyar (Bollywood Brass Band & Transglobal Underground).
Expect high comedy, wild drama, divine deception, and all things bloody beautiful, as this ever-popular troupe summon the ancient gods and monsters of Greece, Ireland, India, Japan, Iceland and more – mashing-up myth to ask what it is that we really, really want...

Taking their inspiration from central Indian epic-singing and global myth-telling traditions, Pandavni108 are world-class storytellers Ben Haggarty, Emily Hennessey and Steph Brittain and superlative musicians Raoul Neumann (Trans-Siberian March Band), Sheema Mukherjee (Transglobal Underground & The Imagined Village), and Rav Neiyyar (Bollywood Brass Band & Transglobal Underground). Tearing up the conventional storytelling rule-book, they perform the best episodes of myth and epic in short-form, accompanied by a live improvised musical soundtrack. Pandvani108 have performed to crowds in theatres (Minack, Thorington Theatre, Soho Theatre, Rich Mix, Northern Stage, Cranborne Earthouse and more), at festivals (Secret Garden Party, Bestival, Lamar Tree, Smugglers, Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival, Beyond the Border Festival); and in urban arts festivals (on the streets of Ramsgate, Margate, Morecambe and Hounslow). Their distinctive brand of storytelling deftly blends the comedic, the magical, and the tragic into something utterly fun.
