You'll be able to explore the main Museum galleries at your own pace and enjoy a range of storytelling and creative sessions:

• All-day public gallery entry – Explore The Whispering Wood, Here Be Dragons exhibition, The Enchanted Library and our brand-new exhibition, The Story Arcade to your leisure as part of the cost of the day (10:00 – 16:30)

• Small Worlds – Sessions in our dedicated picture book space, devised with 0-5 year olds in mind, can be booked. Four hour long public sessions run throughout the day and can be booked via our website (pre-booking recommended)

• Magic Common Room – Two sessions, led by our experienced Learning Team will take place in the afternoon. There will be a different story each session, followed by a variety of stations to explore with a range of creative activities related to the story. These include dressing up, arts and craft, comic-making and imaginative play, as well as more advanced creative writing activities for older children:

• The Café: Have a break with a tasty treat and enjoy the board games, jigsaws and toys on offer.

• Gift & Book Shop: Visit the shop for that perfect bedtime reading or a memento of the day.
