Join veteran Manga artist, Sonia Leong for an introduction to the world of Manga and comic creation.

Learn about the origins of Manga and the variety of styles and processes used in the industry. Then through simple shapes and guidelines, try drawing your own original Manga characters with different angles and expressions.

You'll get lots of tips on how to translate reality into authentic-looking Manga artwork and will get to:

  • practise posing characters effectively when exploring storyboards for your comic pages
  • analyse how Manga page layout works and
  • combine all of these techniques with suggested scripts to create your own Manga page.

For ages 16+
