This performance of Suitcase Stories has been adapted with specially designed sensory activities, a slower pace, reduced audience size, partial Makaton signing and a flexible approach to delivery that will be improvised on the day to suit the audience needs.

Drag King and Queen Stories

It's story time with extra sparkle! Join Adam & Apple as they delve into the Story Museum collections and share their favourite story heroes. Expect drama, laughter, songs and the occasional lip sync battle in this joyous event. Delve into the busy life of bees through balloon games, team challenges, role play and dressing up. Find out how Anansi the Spider trapped an entire nest of hornets without getting stung and how Winnie-the-Pooh tried to catch bees with balloons!

Wednesday 14 February: Butterflies and Crickets
Craft your own insect costume to take home, inspired by our Brilli-ANT exhibition. Work with cardboard sculptor, Lottie Smith, and learn how to transform cardboard into a beautiful butterfly or quirky cricket.

Snug and Grub Catch a Bug

Join Garlic Theatre for this funny, bug-tastic, musical, puppet adventure for all the family.

Snug and Grub live safely underground in their earthy heap. One day they pop out from under a rock to see some googly eyes peering through the leaves of their special bean plant. What on earth is it and who can catch it first? But beware, something is hovering in the blue sky ready to swoop down… A wonderfully wiggly adventure for all the family.

The Witches Sports Day

Calling all Winnie and Wilbur fans! Join illustrator extraordinaire, Korky Paul for the latest installment of the world's favourite witch and her trusty cat. Winnie and Wilbur are taking part in the local witches' sports day and the main event is the exciting broomstick race. Winnie is desperate to finally win it this year - but can she fly to victory. Korky will bring the story alive through the games, drawing and PRIZES in this fun-filled event.
